The problem

Currently, there's a lack of direct support channels for the Black community's businesses. The project seeks to address this by providing a platform that empowers Black businesses to connect with their customers while promoting economic growth and sustainability.

Track Order Design

Challenge:
The tracking orders feature posed a significant challenge as customers often felt disconnected from the progress of their orders, leading to frustration and uncertainty.

Solution:
To address this challenge, we designed a comprehensive tracking system that provides customers with real-time updates on their orders, offering detailed insights into each step of the supply chain journey.

My Role

Designing for Change

As the UI/UX Designer within a dynamic team of six, my primary responsibility was to lead the UI design efforts, generate insights, and prioritize features for the product's initial release.

The high-fidelity designs were meticulously crafted to reflect the brand's identity while prioritizing usability and visual appeal. Each element was thoughtfully designed to enhance the user experience and promote engagement.

Outcomes & Learning

Evaluation and Testing

We conducted thorough evaluation and testing sessions to gather feedback from users and iterate on the design accordingly. Insights from these sessions were invaluable in refining the user experience and addressing any usability issues.

Impact and Results

The launch of the All Forty, Inc. platform resulted in a significant impact on the Black business community, fostering greater visibility, engagement, and support. Key metrics such as user engagement, retention rates, and customer satisfaction scores demonstrated the success of the project in achieving its objectives.

Personal Reflection

Working on this project with a talented team of six was a transformative experience. Collaborating with fellow designers provided valuable insights and perspectives, enriching my own design process and fostering professional growth. I am proud to have contributed to a project that empowers Black-owned businesses and promotes economic empowerment within the community.
